hi there i am having a very bad SNR margin numbers ...
down up
SNR Margin: 25.8 6.7 db
Line Attenuation:36.8 22.0 db
Data Rate : 4398 1064 kbps
Max Rate: 16676 1083 kbps
CRC: 0 1

already changed all the filters, tried a new cable from the box outside my house (4th floor) straight to my filter/modem
what could be the problem here?

does it have a direct effect my internet connection quality ?
could it be a modem issue ?

i'm experiencing a huge slowdowns (especially when we receive phone calls)

me too..i'm expreciencing drops of snr when i receive calls...i'm on a 4mbps plan and i used to have the 2mbps for 1 year and never noticed even 1 CRC error... now everytime i get a landline call my SNR margin drops or start to fluctuate and internet connection become unstable until i finish the call... i'm afraid that there is nothing we can do from our side... i think you have to downgrade your speed until the fiber optics reach the cabinets..

Do you have "filters" on your landline devices? Or if you actually have are they working fine? Maybe they need a replacement, they're pretty cheap as 5000 L.L

It's obviously the problem.
yess i have a filter on my landline...also i tried to plug my router directly to the wall, disconnected all the phones and tried to call... i had the same problem..
I too have replaced all my filters, also tried to connect my modem directly to the phone line (after unplugging all my phones) and same snr margin (the down is good but the up is ~6.7) im not sure if its a modem problem !!! could it be ? or is it strictly a phone line issue ?

it could be a modem problem, I once had the same problem, changed the modem and the snr got +10
any suggestions for modems better than TP-Link? i ve found that these have the best performance for adsl signal and wifi signal... i switched 2 modems and the problem persists... i think in my case it's because of the speed upgrade... otherwise if it s not from my side i can t tell what s happening from ogero s side
