So it begun 2 weeks ago when playing from PC via HDMI, the TV would restart once and give a black screen till I press on the Windows button on the keyboard. I thought then that it's a Geforce driver bug or Windows 10 bug. But the problem is getting worse day after day, I got a boot loop of the TV while playing, I disconnected the HDMI but it kept rebooting like crazy (you see the smart TV logo then reboot).
Last night got a boot loop while watching TV and the PC was totally OFF, this morning too, so the PC has nothing to do with the problem.
Could it be a TV power supply defect or the whole board?
My 40F6400 has no warranty since June so I will pay the high price in case of board :(
I will try a full reset but I doubt it will fix it
Geez these samsung TVs are not so good anymore, lot of stuff like Wifi, youtube, superb picture quality, tons of HDMI and USB...but they don't last long!
Thanks man!
I wish I was good with electronic circuit to diy, I think I will have to visit CTC, but at least I know it's just a couple of capacitors to be changed and not the whole board, so they won't charge me a leg

My TV is at CTC repair for more than 24h and the technician is claiming to still wait for the problem to show up LOL.
Can't he just test the capacitors and board with gears instead of waiting for the reboots to happen? It can stay without boot loop for 3 days...

Hi bro!
Can you check my TV?
I took my TV to CTC 3 weeks ago and the technician told me there was nothing bad with it, he re-flashed the latest FW and the TV worked like a charm the last 3 weeks, suddenly tonight I came to watch TV and it entered a bootloop but this time even if I take out the electricity cable from the wall for a couple of minutes and try it again it will automatically bootloop like crazy, can't open any menu because it will restart at the logo.
I don't want to take it back to CTC because the tech there told me they don't change capacitors, they change the whole board meaning 150$ and more! This is the last time I buy a samsung TV, if the 6th series can't hold up more than 1 year and half it's a disaster.
Unless you know a good and honest repair shop in Beirut, can you please fix mine?
