Smartphones Anti Theft
I remember an exploit in older android versions while I was trying to unlock someone's smartphone, usb debug wasn't enabled. Didn't get through, I don't think there's public exploits about bypassing a stock android with latest updated firmware.Georges00 wroteBypassing the lock screen on Samsung smartphones is easy.
I also did it to my friend who forgot his pattern.
It was a girl's phone so I don't think usb debugging was on.Sup3r wroteI remember an exploit in older android versions while I was trying to unlock someone's smartphone, usb debug wasn't enabled. I just completely deleted the lock screen
Did not try on newer phones though.
You basically flash a custom recovery, open a file manager from there and delete the lockscreen file.
Guys what's the use of the imei number, specifically in Lebanon.
Say I have the imei number of a lost / stolen phone,
Is there a way to track it?
Say the phone is Samsung, do I contact ctc to track it etc..?
Any clue?

I guess you need to report to the police and only them can access the provider's data?AVOlio wroteGuys what's the use of the imei number, specifically in Lebanon.

AVOlio as MrClass said, only the internal security forces/army is allowed to do so!
It will be a big hassle for you and you might want to drop the whole idea and let it go! Unless you have some good connections!
