I managed to get someone from their customer support to listen to me, I tried as much as I can to explain to her, what I was trying to do. She first tried I am trying to crack or hack something, when I convinced her, she understood exactly the problem, and she tried to give me the solution of checking if my app has restricted data set to on on android ( This is a proof she understood somehow the problem..respect for a non technical person).
She said she will forwards the info to the technical team, and requested to double check from my side and if not working send the case to
info@touch.com.lb
I will send the case once I recharge my web and talk for the next month (or if anyone need it faster feel free to send a detailed case, I'll send another one also this way we can increase the priority of the defect).
I am not a network engineer, but I think this could be related to those network layers (not working with 3G), and the layer below it. I don't know what type of package the ping request is sent to ( If any of the CS CCE students in the forum can get the book and gives us a recall it would be nice, I cannot recall any of that course...)
What I am trying to say is that the protocol/layer that is used by the ping request is not valid on 3G ?! or something?! I don't know...
