  • Fetch and Ececute cycles of the CPU (control unit, ALU, memory)

Hello,
I was asked to draw what I understand about the fetch and execute cycle of the CPU (contril unit, ALU, memory), assuming that the CPU already contains the command ADD#3 to element at location 1000 in memory. And then to number the transitions I draw on my figure and and finally to describe briefly what is happenning.
I am having I hard time trying to figure out how to do it. Can anylne help me please?
I dont know mutch about that particular topic.
From what I know the CPU does something like move the value to be operated on to a temporary register, then do the operation and store the result in another temporary register.
It would probably help if you start to describe what happens in words.
