hussam wroteHi. Can anyone recommend a UPS with 400W? my graphics card says it needs a PSU with 350+ Watts which I have. I am guessing the UPS should be higher than 350.
A model/brand +shop name would be nice. My budget is only 100,000LL though so I don't want anything too expensive.
Thank you!
Your graphics card is running on the 12v DC rail, not on the 220v AC... you confused it
Your PSU converts input AC power to output DC power , you need to know the total power consumption of your system while fully loaded on the input side of your PSU "220v line" which will be supplied by the UPS's output.
A simple way to get it is by reading the max amps using a clip type ammeter and multiply it by the voltage used:
If your system consumes 2.5A on 220v, that's 550w so you need a 578w "600w" UPS to keep your system safe and up under any circumstances.
