How long does it take for a UPS battery to get recharged after a UPS auto shutdown following a prolonged power outage ?

Will the battery be affected (last less in the future even when fully charged) after a UPS auto shutdown ?

Does this cause a deep discharge to the UPS battery or is the UPS configured to shutdown before the battery is deeply discharged to protect it ?

I have a PCE UPS by the way.
Normally my ups need approx 6 hours to fully recharge after auto shutdown and yes it severly affect the battery.in my case i usually find myself changing battery every 4 month of course this can be avoided if you dont fully deplete it. For your third question i think it depends on the UPS.
It depends on the type of the battery and it's charge rate, battery capacity, and charging circuit rate.

a Pb sealed lead acid battery (SLA) with a capacity of 7Ah and charge rate of 1C, charged @ 1C requires 7 hours to fully charge (battery capacity / charger rate)

if the charging circuit charges @ 0.5C that battery requires 14 hours to fully charge (7Ah / 0.5C)

Some SLA batteries handles 2C charging rate, which means it could be fully charged in less time (3.5 hours for a 7Ah) if it was charged @ 2C, and (4.67 hours for a 7Ah) if it was charged @ 1.5C
8 months later
hey! my 200ah lead acid battery left on charger overnight and i think it’s overcharged for around 5 hours..charging rate around 5amps and i didn’t noticed alot of heat when i touched it...what do you think?
First of all if you have a respectable charger, it should limit the current when the battery is full (no overcharging).
And for current rate 5AH is too low for 200AH battery, there's equation to calculate the proper current but i think 20AH is good.
Please note that if you charged a big battery with a low quality low current charger the charger will be damaged eventually.
