Usually we buy hardware from the States or Dubai or anywhere but here. In this case, an Ethiopian girl that I work with wants to send a laptop to her relative back home. I can't get specifically what she needs other than that a student will use it. I just know that they don't always have internet so something like a cloudbook.
I'm thinking she should get one of those low processing power netbooks, something with a 12inch or 13inch screen. From a quick search on newegg, it's looks like a netbook is what I'm looking for.
Any advice where to find something like that? Should I tell her to stay away from Chromebooks?
