So I decided to reset my modem inorder to test out whether the PPPoE isername and password I extracted actually work. I backed up my setting prior to the reset so no worries.
After the reset, I got stuck on the login page. I've spent 30 minutes typing different combinations with no luck.
Does anyone know the username and password of this modem?

did you try admin or administrator and password the serial number?

Tried all kinds of passwords with and without the serial number. I called customer support, spent 15 minutes arguing with the lady on the phone, she couldn't wrap her walnut sized brain to why I wanted the username and password. I figured out these modems are probably locked to this specific ISP and that it has its own username and password.
Drove 15 minutes to the nearest store and bought myself a nice tp link TD-W8961ND for 80,000 LBP. Followed the setup guides on this forum and got it working in 5 minutes.
Terranet aren't really creative when it comes to their PPPoE password. It's 12345678 for me if anyone is also subscribed to Terranet.

didn't you have the login info in the first place to perform backup?
too bad this happened to you just to make sure the password is right, dunno but you could have got the login info from them if you insisted, all other providers easily provide you with the router login as far as i know.
on the bright side congrats for your new router

Thanks man, the operator must have been new. When I got the ISP provided modem, it had a username and password set by Terranet, so when I wanted to change the wireless name and key I had to call them and let them know I needed the credentials. They remotely accessed my router and changed it to admin/admin.
I'll give them a call today, maybe I'll have better luck. But as far as going back to the technicolor, no freaking way, man. The NAT type was always strict and couldn't be turned off, it was affecting my online gaming experience.
