I just received an SMS from the bank (SGBL) that my monthly payment to Netflix was declined.
After talking to the customer service I was given the answer that: Yes, SGBL blocked payments to Netflix because they are having problems with some users and that they are willing to re-allow it but there isn't any date.
My answer was: If a handful of users have a problem, you don't stop the service for everyone! It is not a fraudulent website and it is not hosting pr0n & gambling!
Is it SGBL only? or are other banks doing the same?

Short Answer: Fuck banks in Lebanon :)

Maybe they want us to buy movies instead of cheap subscription services.
I don't know how do they think, they have no right to do so. In U.S you could have sued them for thousands of dollars of damage.

It's not for the bank to decide what you should pay or not.
Try another bank. I have Bank Med they never gave me trouble.
For Netflix it's strange to pay them coz they don't work in Lebanon. Maybe Netflix declined the payment?
Do you have PayPal?

It's definitely the bank, they called me and confirmed it. And apparently yes they're deciding stupidly.
I'm checking if other banks are doing the same maybe a netflix user can confirm.
I dont have paypal, I'm still looking for a way to open an account without using a service that will make me feel robbed.

They unblocked it.
