Laptop 2TB HDD in Lebanon
- Edited
biggest 2.5" hard drive i have seen is a 1TB, macrotronics has one. never came across a 2TB unless it came by default with a new laptop.
Maybe out of the scope, but Samsung has just released a 2TB SSD Drive (2.5")
for 800$ and a pro version for 1000$ lolironman wroteMaybe out of the scope, but Samsung has just released a 2TB SSD Drive (2.5")

Not Available in Lebanon - 2.5" hard drive 1TB is available as maximum storage for laptops ; yet 2TB not yet available for laptops in Lebanon - Samsung 2TB HDD will be available in Lebanon with in 3-4months.

Don't go with Seagate, they're unreliable.
what if i buy 2TB western digital hard then i open it and install inside my laptop
Not sure how plausible this might sound. You can try purchasing a slim external 2TB HDD, open the case, take the hard drive, and install it in your laptop.
MrClass's idea is the way to go. though it is quite risky and if you mess it up, your screwed cause warranty is probably thrown out the window the moment you crack that thing open, so take note of that. you shouldn't have any problems though since as far as i know, external hard drives are just normal hard drives with casing and an adapter so yeah...MrClass wroteNot sure how plausible this might sound. Seagate STEA2000400 Expansion 2TB 5400RPM USB3.0 Portable External Hard Drive Slim Black $99.00
PCandParts
should do the trick

Yup, though don't expect high speed IO. 5400RPM is darn slow in today's standards.
wont find any 2.5 incher any faster than that.MrClass wroteYup, though don't expect high speed IO. 5400RPM is darn slow in today's standards.
