Hey guys, I wanna buy a video card but I have a specific budget, max 300$, I was checking what PCandPARTS have, and I found these:

- MSI GTX 960 Gaming 4G GeForce GTX 960 4GB GDDR5 (1) 295$
- MSI GTX 960 Gaming 2G GeForce GTX 960 2GB GDDR5 (2) 263$
- MSI N750TI TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 750Ti 2GB DDR5 Gaming Twinfrozr (3) 199$

Pardon my ignorance:

1- is (1) and (2) better than (3)?
2- the extra 2GB on (1), compared to (2) are worth it?
3- are (1) and (2) "great" video cards? will they run everything? (I don't care about ULTRA settings)
4- is there a better option on PCandPART?
5- what should I get in the end?

THANKS!

1- Yes (1) and (2) are better than 3
2- Worth it only in High Texture packs for games, other than that not that much
3- Yes, they are great video cards for 1080p games
4- I don't think there is somewhere that offer cheaper prices
5- For the bang for the buck card get (2), if you can squeeze extra dollars get (1) then/
GTX 960 is way way way better than the 750 Ti, no matter which one you choose (1 or 2).

960 no Doubt , and better to go with the MSI GTX 960 Gaming 4G GeForce GTX 960 4GB GDDR5 (1) 295$ ; as for 4GB will be a protection cushion against demanding high quality textures for AAA titles even on 1080p

It is worth mentioning that the GTX 960 super-passed even the 780 in Project Cars benchmarking ; it sounds that NVidia is pushing more optimization into the Maxwell compared to the previous gen. Kepler. Knowing that the 960 has 2GB of Vram compared to the 3GB Vram of the 780.

All three cards are based on Maxwell. But I would go for the 960 for sure, worth the extra 25% price difference.
I am not sure 100% but i think only the 960-970-980 will support directX12 so 960 is far better at least for that reason
Get AT LEAST the 2gb 960, youl get a card that scales a lot more performance wise than the price difference. Performance wise the 960 is on par and sometimes even better compared to the gtx 770. As for the 2gb vs 4gb i would personally get the 4gb, I used to game on a laptop 650 gt wirh 4gb ram so even though it could barely hanfle most settings i always was able to max out textures which was very important for me.
960 4gb all the way, for 30$ you are way more future proof (with games demanding more and more vram even at 1080p) , especially since you do not seem like the "i need all settings ULTRA maxed out to the max" type.
i recommend the 960 as well, you cant go wrong with either 2GB or 4GB
Thanks guys, you're helpful as always.
I will get the GTX960 4GB!
