Hi guys, found a new ISP called Connect, does anyone of you have an idea about them? I checked some of the feedbacks; looking good so far! So I want to know what do you think about them if you ever tested them. Thanks and have a nice evening!
DNA
their service is expensive 2Mb 25GB for 50$, and their service is over wifi so good luck with the ping and stability
they are part of mada group,
http://www.mada.com.kw/ in kuwait they are offering 10Mb down 3.5up unlimited for 30$ lol
so most probably they came here not to improve the service, just to make money.

Yep. Expensive, and you get terrible ping and packet loss. Its only upside is that it's WiMAX technology, so it's supposed to be portable, meaning that you can simply plug the modem into any power outlet and you're automatically connected. Still, unless you live in an area where DSL is not yet available, I wouldn't recommend it.

I called them two weeks ago, (as i am waiting for Ogero to install my DSL line, after leaving Sodetel), i asked them about the ping, they told me they need to test it, because they have no idea, and it depends on the region, Plus if i am looking for a good ping, i must buy the most expensive card (75$ i think).
So i skipped.

Thank you for your replies. In my street there is no landphones-lines BOX, so no DSL. Any Plan B for a good ping maybe? I already tried 3G hotspot from my phone it was fine but a bit expensive (1 game of LoL = 30MB).
Thank you again, you are awesome!!

First i love your name :) also have you tried wise or mobi ?
I know mobi a year ago when i had it, it gave me 150-160 on wow Europe server " i had full signal" this is a better solution for your downloading problem "mobi has free night quota" you can have fun on mobi and when you want to get serious you can use 3g "you didn't say the ping on 3g"

First of all, thank you for your mean comment, my name expresses about me a lot, I mean I'm really passionate about technology and networking so obviously when I come to a community like this, I have to google many things x).
Anyways, I think I will give mobi a call and ask them about their coverage in my area and how's the signal.
The ping over 3G isn't so WOW, It's between 150-200 but at least it's stable which is the most important.
Thank you again.

Guys,
In my Region i have 4G, thank God, and most of the time ping is stable, (sometimes its around 90, and sometimes around 150)
but a single CSGO competitive game is around 100MB, so i ended up taking the 10GB bundle, just to play whenever my ping with the local provider is bad...

I just saw there Ads on TV
there whole technology is based on WiFi repeaters but the question is where is there coverage till now
ironman
www.connect.net.lb
they have a section called "coverage" you can see if your region is covered.

I know that most of you have DSL/ADSL which is good, but it's really painful to live under the illegal cable providers and resellers. I mean it's always el meshekle men el sherke, w el 7a2 3a ogero. Anyways to the guys talking about Mobi with the 120-150 ping, was it Mobi IB or Mobi 3G?
thetruth
Are there areas where DSL is not available? O.o I mean in beirut...?

I live in North Lebanon Medjlaya, yes they have coverage here.
And for Ogero... they are miserable here, I'm sorry but it's been 10 months since we asked for the landphone lines box, and nothing changed.

I usually don't go around asking favors but in your case you might need someone with a couple of stars on their shoulders to push the procedure .. if you know someone in Ogero or someone "dabet" in the government i recommend his help .. and yes thank you lebanon for being so awesome

Will try my best really :)) Thank you for being such an amazing-talkative person :D I'm a bit frustrated for my so-called ISP who is giving me a so-called 2Mbps but I'm only getting 10KBps and 600 ping..
