I am building my first gaming PC and maybe you guys can help me.
- Budget: $1600

- Video Card: Asus GeForce Strix GTX980 4GB (price: $700) or is this too much and i should go with the 970?

- CPU: Intel Processor Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz (price: $290)

- Mainboard: MSI Z97 GAMING 5 (DDR3) or Gaming 3. Is there anything different except the SLI and Crossfire functionality? If it is just that i will go with the gaming 3 or if anyone has other suggestions.

- HDD and SSD: I already have an SSD and HDD 1TB WD1003FZEX 7200RPM (Price $60).

- Memory: HyperX Beast 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 2400 (Price: $150). Is this too much?

- Case: Cooler Master CM 690 III CMS-693-KWN1 Mid Tower Computer Case (price: $130). Too much?

- PSU: What do you guys suggest? My friend told me to avoid the thermaltake brand.

Thank you in advance guys.
GPU: If you are a fan of 1 great VGA is better than 2 good VGA go 980 (it will keep your system up to date for 3-4 years)

CPU: go i7 4790k for the extra 50$ (don't get k if you don't plan on overclocking) .. also get a cpu cooler

Motherboard: Gaming 5 will allow SLI and overclocking if you plan to do any of these go 5 and if not go 3

PSU: try something within the 650W you don't really need more (unless you wanna SLI later)

everything else seems fine .. and remember google everything before buying
Go for this: CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K
CPU Cooler: Phanteks PH-TC12DX or Corsair H100i GTX
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VII Hero
Memory: HyperX Savage 16GB
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 or XFX Radeon R9 295X2
Case: NZXT S340, Phanteks Enthoo Pro, Corsair 750D or Air 540
PSU: XFX XTR 650W (or EVGA SuperNova G2 850W if you get an R9 295X2)

Any idea where to find the XFX? Pc and Parts seem to always be out of stock.
You can't find XFX in Lebanon, you'll have to order from Amazon or Newegg.
