As I am facing a very hard time finding a new job in marketing in this crazy country I am thinking to switch into app development with Android (and perhaps later with IOS) as I am a great fan of mobile phones for years.
Here are my questions:
-I have no real background in computer language dev, just had 1 course of C++ at LAU some years ago, took courses of MCSE , I have a Marketing diploma from LAU though I am very patient and heavy PC and mobile user, do you think Android dev for app is difficult for someone like me or you don't have to be a computer science dude?
-I checked with Formatech for courses, they have Android app dev courses but not Google certificates, so I wonder if there are any places in Lebanon with a Google program and certificates??

Well, you have to start somewhere, but you can't dive straight into mobile development.
android mobile development is based on java so as a start you have to begin with java courses and OOP.
if you like how things are going and you have a good base knowledge in java then you can start with android and the web is full of tutorials for everything that can cross your mind in this field.
as for the difficulty, if you like programming you will enjoy yourself and create apps for fun like I do, but it's not an easy way. normal people see an app with couple buttons, I see hundreds of lines of code :)
