Hello everyone, I'm wondering where I can acquire these two items. Looking to update my pc
Logitech G930/Razer BlackWidow Chroma
Don't get the Razer. I have a Corsair K70 and I can tell you it's the best keyboard I've ever put my hands on.
Cosair? I don't believe they have a reseller in Leb, and there is no way I'm shipping it from amazon/newegg since it's a simple keyboard and not a key component. Thanks for the advice though!Johnaudi wroteDon't get the Razer. Well it came here topped out a total of about $251, which is about $90 higher than its original price, yet I do consider it worth it.nas93 wroteCosair? i have the razor blackwidow not the chroma though its great you can buy it from pcandparts.com or virgin megastore i recommend the stealth edition ( with the orange keys ) less than 10$ in difference so worth it
i also have the razer Blackwidow ultimate stealth edition .... looking great and performing even better !
I have the chroma, got it from Virgin Megastore
Works great.
Works great.
The Blackwidow uses Kailh switches not Cherry MX switches, Kailh switches aren't as good as Cherry MX switches, they also feel spongy, not a very strong bump at the actuation point, so practically everything you don't want from a mech keyboard. The G930 uses Romer-G switches made by Omron, they're high-end and very good but if you want the clickness of Cherry MX Blue switches look elsewhere Romer-G switches are pretty much like MX Reds.
What would you choose. Cherry MX brown or red for the corsair k70? I want the more silent and for typing without looking at the keyboard, no need for tactile as I won't look at the keyboard whenever I type.
Personally I'd go with MX Blues for typing (and anything else), but since you want silence, MX Browns are miles ahead of MX Reds when typing, not so much when gaming, double clicks are easier on MX Reds. If you don't mind stiffness MX Blacks may be your switch as it is as silent as rubber-domes but still a mech switch, it's also very hard to find on a regular mech keyboard, you can always them get from a keyboard maker like WASD keyboards.Sup3r wroteWhat would you choose. Wait, there's corsair gaming and corsair vengeance, the latter is more priced, I know they're both corsair, is their a difference?Die_Kapitan wrotePersonally I'd go with MX Blues for typing (and anything else), but since you want silence, MX Browns are miles ahead of MX Reds when typing, not so much when gaming, double clicks are easier on MX Reds. There's no difference, Corsair just wanted to put it's gaming accessories under a brand (Corsair Gaming) and other things under another (Corsair, plain Corsair), Vengeance is the old naming of gaming stuff but it's still the naming of their memory. I still suggest you get something from WASD Keyboards, Cherry, Das Keyboard or Ducky Channel, they're more expensive than other keyboards, but they're also way more well built and they're top notch.Sup3r wroteWait, there's corsair gaming and corsair vengeance, the latter is more priced, I know they're both corsair, is their a difference?Die_Kapitan wrotePersonally I'd go with MX Blues for typing (and anything else), but since you want silence, MX Browns are miles ahead of MX Reds when typing, not so much when gaming, double clicks are easier on MX Reds.
