so finally after 4 years of use my corsair vengeance 1500 is starting to cause problems
im sure it's nothing that cant be fixed but the thing is that i'm bored of it and would like to get a new Headset for this one have served its purpose.

i found @ pcandparts RAZER TIAMAT 2.2 ( it has dual bass feature ) i like the concept and i just love to experience the deep bass sounds especially in fps games.

now my question is:
#1: based on your experience would you recommend it over anything else in its price range ?
#2: can i find a better price in lebanon ? (pcandparts offering it for 105$ + TVA + shipping fees)
Get the HyperX Cloud, it's the best headset on the market at just 82$

thank you sir, but I really love bass, is the hyperx cloud capable of delivering great bass ? i do not listen to music alot... its probably going to be just gaming and watching movies .... im leaning towards the tiamat unless you really recommend the Hyperx clould ... btw do you know where i can get it here in lebanon ?
It's not just me, everyone recommend the HyperX Cloud, if you're not in a rush, wait for pcandparts to get the HyperX Cloud II, it has 7.1 surround sound, it's gonna be released later this month, and pcandparts always stock up on Kingston stuff quickly.
I dont really care about virtual surround sound, for i currently own a Corsair Vengeance 1500, its great and very comfortable, great sound but not really a surround sound... Just a software decoding stuff
What matters to me more than surround is a clean audio and massive bass and i would like it to be analog so i can use it with my tv and other stuff
The Cloud II comes with a USB sound card, it doesn't use software for surround sound, it's also more comfortable and still has the magnificent build quality of the Cloud.
You still dont get my point, there is no such thing as true surround sound on a headphone with only two 50mm drivers, it is virtual, the usb sound that you are talking about can only fake the surround sound output to make it looks real to you, that's what i mean

Anway do you have any idea where i can get a HyperX cloud? If it's cheaper than the tiamat 2.2 i think i'll get it
You should avoid razer nowadays. And I know for a fact that the new HyperX cloud is great. So I would highly recommend it over the razer.
So i saw the tiamat @ virgin DT for $135.00 including VAT
And when i asked about the HyperX cloud they didn't even know what was that!
Do you guys recommend another seller? Where can i get it other than pcandparts?
I have the HyperX cloud headset, it's light years ahead of any Razer headset for an amazing price
you know whats better that HyperX cloud & Tiamat 2.2 ???

simply, fixing my beloved Vengeance 1500 and not paying anything is the best option for me right now :p
you'll be surprised by what can you achieve with a cutter, soldering gun and some luck :D
There's an even better choice, getting an AudioTechnica ATH M50X and a Blue Yeti.

does it need an amplifier to work on the pc?
MrClass wroteWhat about these?

Sennheiser Game Zero (Closed Design): http://en-us.sennheiser.com/g4me-zero

Sennheiser Game One (Open Design): http://en-us.sennheiser.com/g4me-one
The only thing that's good about those is the microphone, and it still is nowhere near a Blue Yeti. If you really want a gaming headset, go with either a HyperX Cloud II or if you have money to spend, the Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D Omega.
where can we buy these in lebanon ?
8 days later
OK .. so i bought the new HyperX cloud II from amazon "99.99$" and they are shipping it to boderlinx's warehouse in the US tomorrow .. the reviews state that the new ones are almost identical to the old ones in shape but offer a 7.1 experience "which with fine tuning can become amazing". i'll post the end result once i have it on the "post your exp" section.
I checked the Sennheiser Game Zero and Game One at Jumbo Electronics.

I highly recommend NOT to get them. What a disgraceful product from Sennheiser. The build quality is actually cheap; though there is no crackling sound. The sound quality wasn't that cutting edge and the high price was not worth it. Don't believe the youtube reviews; most of them recommend this product; no clue how the hell they liked it (I am an audiophile and a gamer; Sennheiser's Game Zero and One don't meet any).

I ended up getting the HyperX Cloud (1st edition), and wow what build quality. Audio quality is great and the mic is pretty good for the price tag. The quality/cost ratio on the HyperX Cloud is sweet; it offers much better build quality for 1/3 of Sennheiser's price.

I've been using it with Dota2 and CS:GO, and it is amazing. It didn't come with the 7.1 virtual surround adapter, but I have a licensed copy of Razer's virtual surround software, and it will work just great.

NAM, you're going to enjoy your new headset. Absolutely great buy.
