I have to redo my home network. I needed a pass-through for my room, and one for the living room to fit a repeater there. To do those things, I need to pass an FTP/STP cable through inside the tubes of the walls. My problems is that, that will be a major issue as my building is really old, and the tubes are really thin.

I saw the powerline adapter at PCandParts. I want to know if anybody tried them out. If so, how is your ping to the router? Was network speed effected? and most importantly, did you face any problems with them?
Highly depends on the power line setup at your home. If every room has its own circuit breaker, then this thing won't work. The start plug and the end plug must be on the same circuit.

The TPLink Powerline adapter does a great job, but again, review your home powerline setup before purchasing it.

The whole house has 1 circuit breaker. But I was going to install a circuit breaker for every room in the house. I guess that project is out the window(?) Why would a circuit breaker have an effect on it anyway?
