DNA wrotegood job on the fix tt400!
i have lots and lots of geeky stories, the latest repair that i doubt anyone have managed to do is that my laptop suddenly stopped functioning not even a single LED will light up when i plug it in, the laptop was DEAD,after some time probing the motherboard and analyzing its circuit schematics i pinpointed the problem to be a dead EC BIOS chip(Embedded Controller BIOS, different from main BIOS)...Now the real geeky part is that i flashed my laptop's new EC BIOS chip using my TV satellite receiver, i didn't have a serial flash programmer available at that time so i went ahead to try and invent something, so took apart the receiver and got the wiring and soldered the chip and was done dealing with the hardware side, now comes the software part, i hacked both the receiver's main firmware and a PC serial flasher, to be able to flash the EC bios using the receiver's SoC. and it worked, no one has done that before
yea i have lots of awesome repairs and stuff that i created. its pretty amazing when you do something amazing the feeling of success at that time is worth the hours that you spend on creating or repairing something.
Jesus. Yeah, man. I do what you did everyday.
