I know about these cameras. That's exactly what I'm talking about, and I explained that these are technically not DSLRs but big mirrorless cameras. A lot of people I've come across confuse "SLR" with "interchangeable lenses" and think DSLR means a big digital camera with interchangeable lenses which is not true.
PS: Actually Sony calls their Alpha cameras "Single Lens Translucent" (SLT).
DSLRs have optical TTL (through the lens) viewfinders. Sony Alpha cameras have electronic viewfinders, but some of them are so good that they can be mistaken for an optical viewfinder.

PS2: According to
this list, Sony did produce a handful of proper DSLR models, but the latest was released in August 2010. It's safe to say that it's probably not being produced anymore, and if it still is, it won't be for a long time. The trend in the industry is to discard the optical viewfinder from cameras in favor of electronic viewfinders, so it's unlikely that Sony would be going back to making DSLRs.
