Hey guys, like 2 months ago I bought a new Desktop, guys from Lebgeeks helped me build it, I'm playing all games now on High Settings and I'm happy with that.
With more games coming every year, System Requirements are increasing, and we need better GPUs.
Before getting my desktop I had an old P4 system, for almost 6 years, and back then I felt that horrible feeling about not being able to run games.
When we get new GPUs that can run games on high settings, we expect really beautiful graphics year after year, but this is not the case for me.
Today I played COD:AW, using my R9 270X, on high settings, and I noticed that characters, their face expressions is really good, almost real, but the environment sucked, the grass was as if I'm playing Delta Force, yes that bad, the buildings weren't too good either, even though in COD:AW the environment is very alive around you, and the game tries to impresses you with that, but I wasn't too impressed with the environment graphics.
So in conclusion, I feel like we just buy new GPUs so we can run the new games, while there isn't so much graphics improvement, today the feeling I got was the same feeling I got when I played COD1 or COD2 for the first time on my NVIDIA 8800GT, the game runs fast, and you always that graphics are somehow cool, but needs lots of improvement. Maybe its my card, maybe its the game, but honestly, the 1 year old Battlefield 4 looked much better.

COD was never about the looks but rather the gameplay, COD graphics are bad but offers the best FPS experience with the smoothest frame rates for competitive gaming, i'd play COD 4 and enjoy it more than those new eyecandy FPS games.
if your are looking for an eyecandy game to stress your card then COD isn't that game for sure.

It's not the card/performance problem if the company behind the game decides to use low quality textures and meshes, same thing applies with TVs if u own a quad HD TV and you watch analog cable on it (dech) , the quality is gonna suck regardless the hardware.
If you want to take your machine to the limit, you can play Crysis 3 with max settings and enjoy the quality.

Try Playing Crysis 3 Ultra Settinngs with 2X SMAA in 2K which the R9 270 X will not handle and you spot the feeling of what cyrrent graphic gen of graphics. For CoD Advanced Warefare I am playing it on Ultra / 2x SMAA / 2x Super Sampling on 1440P ; Great Improvements Over CoD Ghosts of last year and yes it come in par with BF4 and even better in some areas ; when you will play on ultra and good anti aliasing and high resolution you will see the real potential of current game engines ; knowing that I always prefer NVIDIA over AMD since they are partnering with Developers (Ubisoft for Example) for Exclusive Nvidia Features like HBOA + ( Horizon Based Ambient Occlusion (HBAO +))
