  • Question regarding warranties on Asus GPUs

So my PC was hit my lightning and it won't turn on.

Once I remove the GPU it boots normally.

It's Asus GTX 780

Today I sent it to the shop and I'm waiting to see if they will replace it or not, my warranty is still active.

I haven't told them it was hit by lightning though, I just told them it stopped working all of a sudden.

Will they return it or will they create an excuse not to?
Before anything, make sure the card was fried and not your PSU or PCIe slots by a test on another board/PSU

If they refused to return and you bought it less than a year ago don't freak out, just go to Asus and ask them if you can apply for RMA.

Good luck

It's already in the repair shop. too late for that.

Does Asus have a representative in Lebanon? If so, where?

EDIT: maybe this?
