After a good discussion with one of the Mods, I have decided to start a thread bundling all the good-to-read articles, obviously CPUs seem to be a good start, I will be adding article links gradually (maybe weekly) and everyone is gladly welcome to pinpoint any good one ...

CISC vs RISC
intel mainly uses CISC architecture for their CPUs, while, and most probably, the phone you are holding is a RISC architecture CPU, so here is a simple explanation of the differences between the architectures, there is also the MIPS architecture.
