hussam wroteIf I understand correctly, they put too much emphasis on mathematics and physics in the first year. They even teach you electricity and magnetism which is completely irrelevant and is not a general study course.
Private universities have better general studies and only give you the maths courses that you actually need.
Correct me here in case I am wrong but I think Lebanese university gives you a license degree in CS whereas private universities give you a Bachelor of Science in CS.
well even private colleges do so, LIU for example. Université Antonine do the same thing last time i checked.
in LIU we studied physics: electricity, mechanics, and magnetism. Also we studied chemistry even we were engineering telecom students!
plus too much math: calculus 2 + 3+ advanced math+ODE+linear algebra and maybe even more, cant remember
Can you please state the difference between bachelor and license?
And actually I checked the courses, I have like only one course that is related to CS in the first year, but the next year is maily only about CS
license in french, bachelor in English. they are the same thing.
