  • Shops selling used iPhones

Hello all,

So I am in need of a used iPhone(4 or 5, doesn't matter) for testing purposes. I was able to find many people trying to sell theirs via 3gleb and elmazad but I worry about the described quality. I prefer it if it was via some shop. I don't expect a warranty but at least someone to call if the phone suddenly stops working.

Does anyone know of any shop in Beirut selling used iPhones?
Just make sure that the iCloud account is removed before you buy it, otherwise you can get screwed.
most do sell used iphones, stop by any big shop you see!
i don't recommend buying used iphone. shops owner are too curious they often open those phones, tamper the hardware and in my friend's case screws were stolen
i wonder what the testing purposes are...
if you intened to use it like a phone you'd buy, used iphone at least an unclean one isnt the choice!

Get something that's iOS 8 compatible as Apple has dropped iOS7 support already.
Yes, that's the plan. If I can't find a device fairly quickly, I will just get a new iPod. Not exactly the same but, as usual, I'm in a rush.
Why not just buy a brand new iPod? They're like 200-250$ or something.
Yes, that's plan B as mentioned. I wasn't sure if I would need any phone-functions but looking at some prices for used iPhones, I'll probably just risk it and get an iPod. The 5th gen ones are somewhat similar to the 5th gen iPhones.

true, i'm willing to sell my 32gb 4s for $250 , but only untill i get my hands on the new iphone or at least get a confirmation that it's on it's way from abroad. Unfortunately a good friend of mine isn't coming until december from the UAE. so if you or any of you guys know someone that is coming from the U.S , Canada , UAE or any other country where the new iPhone is sold for a reasonable price before that date, I can manage to give you mine within a week.
just wait two week and buy it from here, price will drop, you might pay 100$ more than the original price.
Thanks all. I ended up getting an iPod Touch for $300 from Class. The used iPhones had too much uncertainty in terms of timeline and I was in a hurry.
