I don't think the Mona Lisa costed Da Vinci a fortune to make, yet people will pay billions for it. The iPhone, the Macbook and most of Apple products are pieces of modern art. If you know a little about industrial design you will understand what I'm talking about. Yet I would never pay $1600 for a phone, I will just wait for a relative who will bring me the iPhone 6 for $649 from abroad. Please keep in mind that Apple has 600,000 employees that need to get paid in addition for other expenses like power, scientific researches, transportation and many many more. The iPhone sales should cover all that and not the hardware cost only.
Yes I understand that!
What I wanted to highlight is that even when taking all factors into consideration, Apple products are still very VERY overpriced!
That's what most smartphones websites and blogs agree on!
Also that's what the huge profits Apple are making confirms!
I mean I gave an example of Samsung Note series but in fact I'm not a samsung fan!
Let's take the LG G3! It's a marvelous piece of engineering, have one of the highest screen to size ratio, sleek design, back buttons, lazer auto focus camera, 3GB of RAM, quad core CPU, 32GB of storage, 3000ma battery, IR blaster, 13mp OIS camera, 2K screen at 534 ppi, FM radio, etc... and still is cheaper than the iphone 5s (not iphone 6)!
I mean come on! LG aren't selling it to lose! They are making profits too! And they do have all additional costs!
It's not a flame war in here or anything, but in all honesty, I could never never buy an iphone (although I have an ipad because it's the best hands down) because I'll feel like a complete idiot!
