Greetings all, for about a week now I don't know why whenever the power goes out then comes back on my Thomson modem doesn't reconnect to the internet automatically, I always gotta go to my modem page and click "Connect", does anyone know why and how to fix this?
just to clarify the modem starts up normally and starts all functions(LAN/Wireless) normally, just the internet service doesn't connect automatically as it used to.

Having same issue here on my neighbor's Wi-Fi

I had this issue on tplink router not adsl though, fixed by resetting mikrotik machine on the roof.
A friend suggested a solution, there are those small boxes that delay electricity from an apparel to protect it if electricity comes high or low.
Buy it it's cheap, set it to 2 mins. The problem is, I assume, that the connection comes later and your router stuck connecting.

For me resetting the router fixed this once. It can happen for a period of time then stops too. I had this problem 2 weeks ago, and now it's gone :/

I finally found why it wasn't connecting automatically, I went to the "Broadband Connection" tab, then clicked "View more..." on the Internet section and I found out that the password for the connection was blank(it would give alot of failed authorization message while trying to connect manually) so I set the password, clicked connect, and it worked, the power went off, my modem went down, but when the power came back it connected automatically! So the PPoe password was the problem.
