Canada
Canada current system is Queue, so if you apply quickly and you have points above average you will be accepted. So its the easiest to apply (currently). To apply to Canada immigration you will need to take an interntional english and/or french exam (you will need around 3 month to get the exam done, since IELTS are always full!). You have to certify your university degree using
WES. Thats the gist of it! The process costs around $1000 ( including application fee processing, IELTS, WES...). Note that the
Canada Federal Skilled Worker has opened its yearly door on May 1, 2014 and there is a
quota of 1000 for each job (it use to be 300). Note that Canada will shut down its Federal Skilled Worker next year, so this is your final chance (if you call it so). It will be replaces by another system that will require you to have a job in Canada (way harder am guessing) similar to the Australian system. Its called
Express (my ass!)
For canada there is another stream for Quebec, am not sure how that works, but am guessing its quite similar to the Federal skilled worker, the difference between them is that if you apply via Quebec you will have to settle in Quebec for 5 years or so. Federal skilled worker can settle anywhere they want. Canada process is quite long i know people who have waited for over 5 years.
To apply to Canada Federal skilled worker, you simply print the
applications, fill them and send them via mail to Canada. Hassle Free!
Australia
Australia system is based on a job offer, so its like finding a job. You upload your CV to the Australian government and if a company likes your profile they will call you in... it has similar requirements as Canada (FSW), however you need to evaluate your skills. I think you send your job description to a certification center in Australia and they will make an assessment, am not sure about this and am not sure if you need to sit for a skill test - i doubt you will tho.
Note that am not 100% sure about the info above but it should get you started :)
