  • Torrents stuck on “finding peers 0.0%”

Hello

I downloaded this morning 2 torrents files without any problem via bittorrent (I use a normal modem and no proxy). However, when I tried downloading the next 2 ones from the same source, both were stuck on “finding peers 0.0%” and didn’t download at all. I tried all the following without success:
- Delete the torrent then re-add it
- disable the DHT network
- Disable firewall
- Disable antivirus
- Download on different devices
- Download via wifi and 3g
- Upgrade bit torrent
- Try utorrent instead

Can you advise me please regarding why I couldn’t download my other 2 torrents files? How can I solve the problem?

I would appreciate your quick help And tips. Thank you!
Did you try other torrents? Maybe there aren't any seeders or leechers. Try downloading an ubuntu torrent and see if it works. If it does, then the problem is with the two torrent files

bit torrent say seeds/peers ratio is infinite. what does that mean?
how can i know if it has seeders or leechers?
From the website you are downloading the torrent from
this is an example on kickass.to

both got 1 seeder and 1 leecher
Then it is a dead torrent. you will have difficulty downloading if there are no additional seeders/ leechers

what does it mean when the download stops at 80% and it gets stuck forever on "connecting to peers" knowing that the torrent has many seeders and the status of the tracker is "working"?
Meaning the torrents have a few seeders and for some reason you cannot connect to them(not necessary a problem from your end, it is how torrents work) . You just have to retry.
Are other torrents working? I usually try ubuntu torrent since it has thousands of seeders to test my connection and speed

should i restart the download from the beggining or just resume it from where it stopped?
Resume, you can stop and resume later. Or leave it on all day if you want.
Just copy the hash paste it in torrentz(dot)eu find other hosters with different trackers, you might find a magnet with good seeds.

use bitcomet and the Emule plugin it offers that will increase your chances at finding more seeds it helped me alot
and you also need to configure your router and forward a random port in the 20k+ ranges then make your torrent client use it
it will look up more seeds
