There hasn't been one of these in a while so I thought I would start one. It will be used mainly for gaming and some light 3d-max. The budget is strict at 1000 dollars ttc.
Any overclocking? And just the case right?
I also need a screen, and I don't want to overclock.
i5 3570
AsRock H61 motherboard
8GB HyperX 1600MHz
Thermaltake V4
Thermaltake Smart SE 630W
Sapphire R9 270X
1TB HDD
DVDRW
LG 21.5" IPS 1080P Screen

It comes $80 above budget, but in return you'll be getting a nice gaming system capable of gaming any game at 1080P no problem.

What you could do is, ditch the screen for now, and get an R9 280 or 280X and hook it up to your TV for now.
We shouldn't go lower end i5, because you'll have more bottleneck in the future, RAM prices will rise soon, 500GB vs 1TB = 10$ difference, there's no cheaper case, no way in hell should you go cheap on the PSU, DVDRW is your choice to save 25$.

Going with an R9 280 over a 270 will give a nice performance boost.

The V4 comes with a PSU, apparently. So he can use the money of the 630W on the better GPU.

The ones being sold in Lebanon don't include a PSU. And the PSU's included with cases aren't that good anyway.
Very nice build thank you for your time everyone will be back with pictures when i finally get it.

Well that was fast.
I had already done my research and was just inconclusive about the psu and motherboard.
If you can ship from Amazon or something, you could get an R9 280 or a 7950. Possibly a better board as well. It's your choice to do so though. Also, consider upgrading the PSU to the Antec 520W on PCandParts. It's slightly more expensive but much better than the Thermaltake. 520W is be enough to run your rig just fine.
I can't seem to find that psu anywhere on the website. Other than that are there any recommenced hard disk brands or anything is the same?
Edit: Never mind, found the psus , i will go for the antec then the price difference in negligible.

Just the case? What monitor do you have? More info please? I could build you myself if you want. PM me
There was a price reduction for the 270x which is nice but are you sure a 540W will be enough? I managed to salvage a dvdrw from an old desktop and i'm curios to know if the case is any better than the thermaltake v4, but i can't seem to find anything written on it.
520W is more than enough. I'm running a 500W PSU on a 3770K Maximus v formula and a 7970.
The V4 is an excellent case for the price. I've built 90% of my pcs in it.
a month later
Im planning to build a pc for upcoming games ( cod advanced wrfare ...) and for image and video editing and 3d modelling. where can i get the parts for a good price? please i want a physical shop inside or near beirut.
Microcityweb.com has a physical shop, online listed prices and delivery service in case you need it.
Prices are very nice too, sometimes better than pcandparts
