In London, the entrance fee for one session at the 50m swimming pool in the London Aquatics Center is 4.50 GBP (afternoon / peak time), which is like 7-8 US Dollars. This is an indoor swimming pool which hosted the Olympics in 2012. London is one of the most expensive cities in the world.Johnaudi wroteAren't they supposed to be for free?
These prices in Lebanon are crap and it has to stop.
The problem is again… corruption. With all the coastline we have, its all hijacked by politician families . this sucks.
I went to a crappy beach in rmeileh paid 20 $ entrance fee , and a small pepsi is 5,000.
I wonder why we have people in jail! Cause I bet they have never 1% of what those people are doing.
By the way. Sour is free and great, but didn't have the time to go there.

Sure, but it costs around 20$ of benzene to get to Sour, and then back to Beirut. Which defeats the purpose.xerxes wroteThe problem is again… corruption. With all the coastline we have, its all hijacked by politician families . this sucks.

You can go by bus to sour. Much cheaper than 20$.
Sure you can. But it would take a lot more time, and will be a lot more of a hassle, especially in the heat of the summer. Also, I have a severe allergy to smoking, and people tend to not care and smoke in busses. They don't always take too kindly to someone asking them to stop. So it's too much of a hassle.
I understand. Once I tried to work at a company where my manager was smoking indoors, right across me. Then he would open the window and my fingers would freeze.Obviously wroteSure you can.
