I found these commands. Are they correct?

Pending .. waiting for low usage time for testing
I was able to set the modulation to ADSL1 ( G.DMT).Speed remained the same ,and now I will test the pings for cs:go and rocket league.
Thanks for the link but it didn't work for me. When trying to put g992.1 the modem wouldn't connect so I had to restore it to default settings. It may work for others but it didn't work for me. My ADSL type is currently G.992.3 Annex L US Wide which is reach extended adsl2 but it has a max downstream of 5mbits and max upstream of 0.8mbits.StannisTheMannis wroteI found these commands. Ping is still 130 while the router shows the modulation DSL Type:ITU-T G.992.1. You can try this "Login to the Thomson via telnet.
Type menu and use arrow and tab key to navigate.. go to xdsl, debug, multimode, and in config use the up arrow to get to g992.1_annex_a.
Press enter.. tab to ok.. press enter."as taken from here.

Changing to adsl1 (g.dmt) didn't work, my modem wouldn't dial up the broadband. Changing it back to default made it function again. Anyways, thanks for your help.
EDIT: My modem isn't the tg587 v2, I have the tg585 v7 back from 2009, but everything looks the same and every command is the same

when you connected to telnet and it asked for username and pass (username: Administrator but the pass should be blank) this is how i got it to work .. also don't forget to saveallSuper Official wroteChanging to adsl1 (g.dmt) didn't work, my modem wouldn't dial up the broadband. A quick update .. CSGO now is 96-103ms .. excellent results .. that is about 30ms lower than i used to get .. i need to test the download speed but all in all i am happier

Anyone subscribed to the 2mbs plan receiving more than 200kb/s ? Steam and torrent speed are always at 195kb/s which is annoying considering 2mbs is equal to 250kb/s.
As far as I know, IDM throttle Torrent.StannisTheMannis wroteAnyone subscribed to the 2mbs plan receiving more than 200kb/s ? Steam and torrent speed are always at 195kb/s which is annoying considering 2mbs is equal to 250kb/s.
My source: I was talking to a customer service representative and he told me that my torrent speed should actually be slower than usual downloads. Like seriously? He just admitted throtlling.
I was on the unlimited plan.
Plus, I was asking about my unusual high ping then he suddenly tells me that on my plan it's normal and said that torrent speed should be also slower but when I told him that it's normal, he got surprised.
Stay away from them and switch to another isp

Torrent speed is the same as regular downloads ,so i guess they will also be surprised ? Do other companies provide 2mb/s exactly at 250kb/s ?
I never had a problem with download with IDM .. I am subscribed to the 4mbps plan and i get a 420kbps which is as good as any other ISP can promise .. this is due to the state of phone cables in lebanon among other factors .. so please don't start throwing accusations .. if you are not happy with IDM please take Ogero's offer ... they offer the best internet connection (ping and no FUP) but no free night quota .. may the force be with you
If I downloaded around 3gb while on limited and then another 4gb during unlimited time , I wont get FUP?NAM wrotethey offer the best internet connection (ping and no FUP) but no free night quota .. may the force be with you
I actually talked to them about that a week ago, they told me limited plans have no fup even with unlimited night, but, they might add fup to night traffic in the future.StannisTheMannis wroteIf I downloaded around 3gb while on limited and then another 4gb during unlimited time , I wont get FUP?NAM wrotethey offer the best internet connection (ping and no FUP) but no free night quota .. may the force be with you
Hey guys,
Question 1:
~~~~~~~~~
Yesterday the waiting time was over and my new DSL line was connected, I subscribed to (4 Mb/1 Mb) 50 GB plan,
The download speed was fine but the upload was actually 512 kbps and not 1 Mbps !!
I called 1282 we checked the line atten. and SN margin the results was great...he will open a case in this to see why its 512 and not 1 Mb !
Anyone has the plan here ?
do they really provide 1 Mbps as upload ? or its a dream!
Question 2:
~~~~~~~~~
I heard from a lot of people here that IDM has a pool for online gamers, where you can ask the support to put you inside this pool with low pings (& real IPs maybe...I don't know)
So does this pool really make difference ... anyone tried this before and after ?
I have XboxOne and ping really is important to me...
Why didn't I choose Ogero ? Because of the unlimited night traffic.
Thanks,

As for the upload, check your modulation, if it's re-ADSL2 or G.992.3 Annex L US Wide or US Narrow, max upload is 512kbps. So if it is the case ask them to change it to adsl2+Abou7meed wroteHey guys,

First of all, thanks for the reply,
Well right now I am at work and have a screenshot of the stats of yesterday,
is it this ?
DSL type: ITU-T G.992.5
(this can be found on the same page where you can see the Line atten., SN margin and bandwidth)
My modem is the technicolor one,
you mean, IDM can change it from their side...or I must do it from the modem itself ?
