Hi
My brother has the Technicolor TG582n adsl model/router from IDM (but comes with cyberia logo on the web interface :) )
its information is:
Software Release: 8.C.M.0
Software Variant: DK
Boot Loader Version: 1.0.5
Board Name: DANT-T

My question is: is it the latest software/firmware? IDM support says it is but i just want to ask all the geeks here :)

Thanks

I updated my TG582N using the firmware version provided in
Firmware for Technicolor TG582n software DANT-T Generic:

tg582n.10.2.0.B

all worked ok, but it seems that the GUI log in name and password are changed

i tried all combination i know nothing worked.

can anybody help with the default user name and password that comes with this firmware
did you try
user: admin
password: SerialNumber (the one on the modem sticker)?
Yes I did try this one. It seems that the new password is set by ramx as part of the firmware he posted.
it look like it is the password of the ISP he was subscribed to.

In all cases, if we fail to get the password, is any other way around. like a flash memory or something?

or shall i forget about this modem and buy a new one?
Try this (Second important point : The router previously had admin @ admin as user and password, now administrator without password;)
Username : Administrator or administrator or admin or Admin
Password : (blank)

I stopped using the modem since I switched to VDSL

None of the suggested combination worked. :(
is there anyway to move around the password. like a master rested or something similar?
or nothing exist like that?
Reset router by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds. But please be advised that all the information will be lost such as ISP username and password for the DSL, settings etc..
You should be able to log in using the default credentials
Try 'user' as username and password mine used to have these credentials
