Nemesis-301
AVOlio wroteI am now in Spartacus vengeance (season 2).
I can't believe how this show is not popular as walking dead or breaking bad or game of thrones..
If @nemesis-301 didn't recommend it to me, I would have never have found out about It.
Anyway.. During th first season, I always kept wondering, if Ganikus will ever return, I was so eager for him to get back.
And he did, which is awesome!
The one thing I didn't like, is that they changed some actors in this season.
Especially Spartacus, and Naivia.
I don't know why they did that, but in my opinion, the first Spartacus was better.
What should I watch after I finish this series?? XD
yeah, spartacus is definitely an underrated series! glad you are enjoying it man! btw the actor (Andy whitefield) for spartacus passed away because of cancer after they finished shooting season 1, that's why they replaced him, otherwise he was a wonderful actor, and definitely better!
well, after this series I recommend without a doubt watch "Arrow", if you thought spartacus was a thriller, wait till you watch this! :P
edit: finished watching "arrow", very awesome thriller btw... and also finished "black mirror" which I highly recommend to all technology enthusiasts "A television anthology series that shows the dark side of life and technology." -IMDB

Warning, Spoiler Alert
Just finished Spartacus.
MAN what a series.
The end although realistic and was inevitable to come. I am disappointed!
By disappointed I mean SAD!
I wanted to see the falling of Rome!
If the producers acted smart, they could have kept Spartacus alive and continue the series.
Pfff, at the last stand Kresos still did not die, Agron didn't take the chance to kill him with that strike from the horse.
What a plot!
By the way, I actually almost dropped a tear, for a gay couple reunion lol.
When Agron returned to the camp after being captive, and Nassir saw him and went to him.
I am surprised too haha.
What to watch now @nemesis.
You said Arrow last time?

Spartacus is based on true events, although scarce. The names are real, the revolution is real, and the ending is real (even spartacus body most said was not found in the battle after his death) check this link for more info about the real events
Historical Accounts of Spartacus' War

spoiler:
yep, the ending was definitely sad but memorable!
now, what to watch next? I said "arrow" and I definitely recommend it, because it is a thriller, a lot of action, the story is very interesting with a lot of plot twists, you will get hooked. But if you want something similar to spartacus, then check out "vikings" its also historical, and the story is really good.

Gotham
Arrow
The Flash
By the way, @mods, don't you think this topic should be sticky as well?

Arrow
what season are you at?
I was a bit behind but now I followed up and can't wait for the new episodes

I'm currently watching arrow and I definitely recommend it. It's not like the typical super hero series we grew up watching, there is a good linked story, deep characters, complicated plots etc...
I'm not a fan of how simplistic they make hacking/programming seem though

House of Cards, almost done season 3, marvelous series, I would almost place it above Game of Thrones.
Shameless, watching season 5 now, the US version, good social series, lots of ups and downs.
Viking, did not like it that much, watched till somewhere in season 2, felt the story is somehow shallow and the important event are too far apart.
Hybrid
Survivor, and waiting for Game of Thrones
Elied
The Last Man On Earth, it's still in season 1 but I it's been quite funny.
There's also Scorpion which is not that bad, though I'm a bit skeptical about the authenticity of the "True stories" that they show

I watched all of Breaking Bad in like a week. I signed up on netflix just for that. But now I try to stay away from series, plus after watching Breaking Bad, it's hard to get into other series :) Now I tend to have a fixed idea of what I want. I do watch episodes of "better call saul" (a Breaking Bad spinoff) when they come out, if I remember to. I had forgotten about it in these last weeks, so now there must be two episodes for me to watch. But it's slower and not as entertaining as Breaking Bad, plus it reuses some stuff. I mean what to expect from a spinoff which tries to take advantage of a success.

@aliassayli Im through to the final episode, waiting for the release every time.
@rolf.
I also finished Breaking Bad in one week also, maybe 4-5 days even. Also TWD the first three seasons.
In my point of view, that is the best way to actually enjoy a series.
To have the complete series right here with you, and watch it in your own way.
Not by waiting every week for a new episode to air and then watch it.
That is the reason why I am not that into Better Call Saul at the moment. (Which in my opinion is a good idea of a series,it tells the life of Saul before he met Walter White i guess, put it in your words, yes its a spinoff from another successful series.
But its still enjoyable to watch.
Also, TWD is kind of boring me since i finished watching the first three seasons in a one way street when i had them all, and after that i started watching episode by episode week after week, the excitement and thrill are gone.

Perhaps the best series of 2015: The Last Man on Earth!
It's damn funny and good for post-apocalypse movies lovers

I agree TWD got boring after the prison season, I had the same feeling. And I have the same view that watching a complete series is better than watching one episode every week or so.
My favorites of all time:
-Prison Break (Viewed multiple times, now I wish I didn't watch it so I can see again without spoilers!)
-Breaking bad
Currently watching (waiting for new episodes)
-Game of Thrones
-TWD (I'll just wait till the series is over and try to watch it from where I left if I have time to)
My "ok" list(watched only some episodes):
-The mentalist
-House M.D

The Last man on Earth is getting better and better :)
Helix season 2 is nice
12 Monkeys is my actual Number 1, it has a fantastic taste of Terminator in it, the actors are awesome and ambiance is pretty solid
