I just have a question, will a 2 Mbps internet be good for playing Dayz Standalone? I really want to buy it from steam but i am afraid that the lag will make me regret.

show us a speed test showing your ping , the ping that does matter not the speed

60ms to the server location, Europe would be bbc.co.uk is enough! Less is better, it's not about speed sultan, a 512kbits/s is enough with a good latency for most games.
On windows, open command prompt or open run and type cmd
Type ping bbc.co.uk

with this connection I play all sort of online games , but with a 156 ms ping i doubt it, you will have lagging issues

NuclearVision i get an average of 103 ms.... guess that is not really good.

It's not bad, you could play decently.to European servers.

yeah you are right....i read somewhere that pings <100ms are good for Dayz and i believe i can get lower than 100 for close European servers. I want to thank you guys for your help!!

I use 2M to play DayZ, but 1M works as much as 2M. As long as you have more than 60kb/s and a good ping, you're good to go.

I can find servers with 86ms or so (french servers).
