  • Where to get SD cards and photographic equipment

Hey guys,

I need to get a good SD card for a camera, but would also be interested in knowing good places in Beirut (and around) to shop for photographic equipment and accessories, preferably a place with a site online where you can see the inventory, and the prices (but I might be asking for too much!).

So does any of you photo geeks (I know there are a couple around here) have any tips about that?

Camera is on the way, Olympus E-PM2
Anyway what I will need is an SD card, class 10, from a good brand. I'd probably take two of them, 16 or 32 GB.
Note: I want good stuff but I don't want to waste my money either, so I don't want to pay extra for stuff like metal SD cards, etc. I just want a fast SD card from a good brand.
If possible a good 37mm UV filter too, but that's not absolutely necessary.

PS: If it takes time to compile a list, don't bother. I can give you specific models, but for the moment, I just want to see if I can buy something here, because it will be faster... I know it will cost more too...
Yes, compiling a list would be a bother. Will PM you tomorrow (probably, day after tops) with a few available options. And do not worry about prices. Mine are slightly higher than the US' due to extra taxes, but that's pretty much it.
