AVOlio wroteSo, does anyone have an idea if we can find out the chipper of the phone that we will buy.
Do the retailers have any idea which one they have?
I asked a store today, he said he has no idea.
And which one is better in the note 4,
Exynos or Qualcomm? Performance and battery life wise.
As you have been answered, a usual 4G phone obviously supports 2G/3G/4G (unless it's CDMA like verizon etc...).
See this extract:
The Exynos 7 Octa model of the Galaxy Note 4 scored higher on raw computational scores and had faster RAM performance, which is why we'd expect faster app execution and load times from it. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 805 model dominated the graphics benchmarks, and that leads us to believe that it will be a better gaming device. Yet at the end of the day, we'd say that Samsung has done a good job ensuring that both Galaxy Note 4 models are excellent Android devices with comparable performance as neither of them stood miles ahead of the other in our tests. Regardless of which SoC powers your handset, rest assured that you're not missing out on much.
In short both are great but if you need 4G you will have to either get the exynos 4G version or the snapdragon version!
