Also biggest challenge is noise in spectrum. Mikrotik known to be more reliable, Ubiquiti on my experience has very unreliable devices. I had very serious dispute with UBNT, where they refused to confirm that they have ethernet degradation issue, while many users faced that. When some engineers found out it was missing protection circuit, even then they didnt confirmed and just silently fixed this issue in new hardware revision.
companies like that will have hard times keeping customers and maintaining a good reputation!
anyhow, how Mikrotik is different from cisco hardware in terms of configuration? I'm currently enrolled in ccna course, can i manage a mikrotik router easily? or it is a diff story?
