mmmm shouldn't a KVM switch do the job for you? KVMs are available at pcandparts.com
i need to connect several laptops to a screen and the operator will choose the one he wants, does this work with the KVM switch?
Also is there any HDMI kvm switch?
a kvm switch will let you connect multiple computers to one screen w keyboard and mouse. So one can control say 4 PCs without plugging and unplugging. I suppose it should work ok with only video connections.
I know that hdmi switches do exist and you can search google and amazon to have an idea, but I'm not sure if they are available at local stores.
Try emailing pcandparts, I have a good experience with them. Very good customer service!
A KVM is a switch, meaning you can use only 1 computer at a time. Whereas with the splitter Tarek is asking for is something that shows all of the screens in 1 monitor I'm guessing.
I found an HDMI switch ( 4 input with one output ) in pc and parts ... I will see how this will turn out .

Allow me to disagree you, he said a switch "vga switch" "hdmi switch" which means one computer at a time. Check the pictures he posted, see the buttons? those are to choose which computer to show it's signal, so it is just like KVM but without keyboard and mouse :)

good luck Tarek, keep us informed!
i have one TV in a meeting rooming that might be connected at 4 ports ..so the guests don't have to change the cables connected to the TV ( as all cabling is hidden ) .. so the HDMI switch will help me choose the laptop that i want to view on the TV
