  • Controller for the original Xbox

A friend of my brother's is traveling so he gave me his Xbox. I loved the original Xbox because it was my first 3D gaming console as a kid, and the games and memories I had on it were amazing. And the fact that this Xbox he gave to me was the same Xbox I had as a kid (We swapped with him with a PS2).

So the thing is pretty special to me and I'm willing to continue game on it.

Only problem is that, he lost the controllers and I can't find any of them anywhere

So does anybody know where I can find any?

dude I saw a shop here in Tariq Jdeede that has one he is near the Municipality Stadium
btw I revived my original xbox too with xbmc dashboard and installed some emulators plus you can upgrade the HDD on that thing and play games from it
I think my hard drive is already 80 gigs. The noise is pretty loud on the drive though.

I need some place closer. But I'll have a look at that shop if I get a chance to.

Also, if I mod mine with XMBC, will I still be able to play Xbox games on it?

And am I restricted to offline playing if my console is modified?
I don't know about online gaming but sure if you mod your xbox you can play original and non original Xbox games plus you'll get to put emulators on the xbox

Still haven't found a controller. Anyone? Martita had a knockoff for $35. I guess he found a chance to rip me off.
I reckon your best option is to search for them outside of lebanon. As far as i know you have one in a million chance to find a controller here; and if i remember correctly they shut down most servers for the original xbox live

My brother won't let me use his card anymore, and simply have no time to make a debit card.
I got the Silver original xbox- 2 controllers (1 original,1 good controller)- about 8 or 9 original games and a bunch of non original games.

Thing is,im not willing to sell it piece by piece. Only 1 package.
I already got the console and fully refurbished it to brand new condition. All I need are controllers.
I made a deal with someone on Facebook who was selling his console which had 2 original controllers+the remote for $60. I managed to get 1 controller and the remote for $20, and told him to sell the console for $50. So finally got my controller! Already moded XBMC, now installing emulators ;)
