Shipping from abroad (share your experience)
I got my order in from iherb yesterday---it was about $200 and I used DHL for the carrier. I made the order on Sunday and I received everything on Friday---had to pay about 180000LL for clearance and customs which was worth it IMO (~$20). In the 1500 days, this would have been unacceptable however. Maybe time to rethink some purchases and how to ship them....

Same problem, have you received anything? It's been over 2 months for me.infiniteloop wroteAnyone ordered from Aliexpress with SunYou delivery?
After only 1 week it arrived from China to Beirut Airport, but it's been 1 month already that it arrived to "destination country" and nothing moved, not even with the customs.
I wonder if it's not a tracking bug or the package just got lost in the Beirut 's airport.
Usually SunYou shipments are slow to arrive here?
Nop same message that it arrived at destination country since the 1st week of DecemberDoom wroteSame problem, have you received anything? It's been over 2 months for me.infiniteloop wroteAnyone ordered from Aliexpress with SunYou delivery?

Dunno if Libanpost is working but I am pretty sure customs are.
I will reclaim a dispute in 10 days if nothing move

A package was sent to me from UK using Rroyal mail on 12/12, it left UK on 17/12 and until now the status is still Item departed to final destination, packages sent using Royal mail used to arrive in 1 week, it has been a month and a half and the package didn't show up yet, I feel like the package was lost.
Is Libanpost even working or what? what about customs? this is unacceptable.
Did anyone face such delay and their item arrived ?

One more thing to note: all my Aliexpress items are being stuck at Customs for like 20 days at least...
I have no idea what the Customs are doing

My AliExpress order was closed (and auto-confirmed as received) because of their time limit, but I still haven't received my item. Should I open a dispute, or should I wait a bit more ? (since it may just be stuck in customs). Is there a deadline for opening disputes after the order was "received" ?

@ramy58, check the status of the item on Libanpost App, if it is stuck in customs, it will appear there (so you are safe since it reached Lebanon), if it doesn't appear in Libanpost app, then open a dispute.
Seems like everyone is having issues with Libanpost and customs, Are they even working ? All the packages are getting lost or delayed for months. Are you guys even receiving your packages after a specific time ?

who got a shop and ship account? I'm not able to signup for an account with my credit card.
My laptop battery died, it's not the usual laptop battery, it's built in, I shipped one to dhleasyshop but they won't ship it,
although I heard from online reviews that shop and ship will ship it.
If anyone has an account and could lend a help here, with his address in US, I'd be paying the shipping costs?
Also in return I'd get you an item from amazon for 300$ that you'll have to pay for then you get the money back.
(not sure if you can pay with credit card that much online nowadays)

On my experience shop and ship even worse with batteries.
Sometimes they don't notice, but it's sometimes.
IATA regulations is same for all air shipping.

You can't ship batteries with aramex, it's prohibited. I tried to order once a battery for a phone and they discarded it.Sup3r wrotewho got a shop and ship account? I'm not able to signup for an account with my credit card.

shopandship and dhl stuff are going through normally, they are just ignoring aliexpress stfuffinfiniteloop wroteBeta0 wroteSince 2nd December here.NuclearVision wrotelast item spent 16 days at customs

Its more like dhl and aramex go after their stuff, while aliexpress stuff (normal airmail) is handled by customs eithout any broker etc. So it takes time (no one going after these packages).
+ They get $$ with private couriers like dhl, while 90% of aliexpress stuff pass free.
Though this game they are playing of postponing AE shipments is not at theur advantage, because the more they postpone the more they will have accumulated shipments. In a normal day they would have 150 packages to check, now with 2 months accumulation, they will have to check 1500 per day
