Hello!
Since we have a new IT manager,he's playing with overall internet speed.
Today when he was away he forgot his PC opened,so I went to check his own connection and it was way faster than on mine!
So my doubts about splitting the internet speed between him and others is granted.
I did ipconfig to get his ip number so I can use it instead of him,but before that I had to change his own ip to another one.
When I went to network and sharing center (win7) he had no connection at all.
So I couldn't see his network card settings and change his ip.
How the hell he could mask his network internet connection? and yes he's definitely connected as I tried 2-3 websites.
Any ways to bypass his masquerade and change his ip so I can use his?
I can barely get 30kb/s while we should have 200kb/s with our HDSL

What if the bandwidth distribution isn't IP-based but MAC-based?
I don't want to give many ideas but I doubt you'd want to do this. The IP addresses might be assigned by other networking hardware and you'd be inducing an IP address conflict, aka you're getting yourself in trouble.

How can he hide his network connections?
Can I mask or virtually change the MAC of my network card?

He probably left his PC open on purpose :)

Torrents are still very fast, got 200kb/s
I will stick with torrents then
