It's in the airplane, meaning it will take 2 to 4 weeks before it really arrive to Beirut

to be exact it says departed to final destination on 11/04/2016.
Use the libanpost tracking, it's more understandable + accurate than the china ones.

Customs has nothing to do with the size its about the type and value of the item. 99% this will be free.

So I placed an order for a VR headset (18$) yesterday, the seller was always quick to answer so I liked it and trust it more than other shops that took 24h to answer every time. Though until now I didn't see a ''seller shipped'' message and there are 4 days remaining for that, also he didn't answer a question to verify that the product model is 2N and not 2S from yesterday.
So, are they closed on Saturday in China?
If not do you think it smells fishy?
If on Monday they still didn't answer or shipped it what should I do? Cancel the order or wait that the processing time is finished so they cancel it themselves?
And finally if they cancel it they will return the money to my esurf card like Amazon does?
you can tell aliexpress’s sellers to mark your items with a low price or as a gift.. you won’t pay customs even if your item worth 500usd... all seller accept to do this..

It took about 24h for my last item, though Friday and Saturday they work just a couple of hours so it will take more time if by the end of week.
Also I heard small packs pass faster.

I finally got the VR thingy to be released by the seller to China post, though no message of confirmation about the product model number ;/

It is daghet. I know people who order hundreds of parcels at a time. I myself have about 25 packages that are stuck at customs. People are using Aliexpress a lot and it's true there is a lot of packages coming in

Yes you may! I don't recommend doing it. You may get lucky but also you may get issues.

My friend ordered a scope for his "khered2a" rifle and he got into lots of trouble. He later on dropped it and didn't take it anymore.
My other friend got away with it.

A scope is different than a knife. I don't think he will have issues with buying knives, we all have them in our kitchen drawers.
