how are libanpost these days?
are they shipping goods to doors?
thanks!
around 4 month and no items...
NuclearVision wrotedid you ask the seller or libanpost?
I checked the tracker and all have reached Lebanon. Only one had been tracked by Liban Post as well. I forgot the details tho since that was like a month ago. I once called Liban Post (Bikfaya) which is the branch that sends me the items. They suck! they had this old man who couldn't give less shit and was extremely good at not being helpful.
NuclearVision wrotegive them a visit.
Should I visit the main branch or any branch will do the trick?
@RTP, 1st track the packages, if the package has been for more than 30 days at Libanpost it will get returned to sender. (it will appear in the status)
2nd Did you open a dispute with the seller? if not, the window to do that timed out and the money has been released to the sender.

Good luck.
PSA: If you shipped an RC helicopter and it gets stuck at the customs do not try to get it back, open a dispute mention that it is stuck at the customs and inform that it will be returned to sender and get your money back.

The amount of paperwork, and money spent to get it out from customs exceeds by far the original price.

Note: It really depends on the Helicopter, in my case it was a toy helicopter valued at 25$

I had to go to Libanpost (Airport branche) wait for a customs lady to estimate the helicopter, then go to the actual airport to Jihez amn el matar where they sent a specialist to check if the TOY helicopter with 5 minutes flight time can be used as a weapon of mass surveillance and then wait for the approval of the specialist, wait for jihez am el matar to actually stamp the approval, and then go back to Libanpost (Airport banche) go to Aramex section where the customs are located wait in turn to get an invoice, go Pay the invoice, Go back to Libanpost, get my package, sing at the customs, go to Libanpost section pay LIBANPOST and then get the hell out of that clusterfuck.

Please note that it took days between each step, multiple trips to the airport and this lead to storage fees at Libanpost that cannot be waived, parking fees at the airport,
@chosen2k, thanks for the share. You just reminded me why, i wont move my ass and pick anything up myself. Worst case scenario is i don't get the item and then i will open a dispute and get my money back. In case the item decides to arrive in like 1 year or later than I will pay the seller. I will extend the delivery date a month more and see how it goes.
@rtp the seller won't turn your money back if it's been more than one-two weeks since the package has been marked as arrived, in your case it's 4months and thus quiet hard to win the dispute, you could contact the seller anyway, to get all imminent facts.
Regards!

I got a full refund like 1 week ago. So I think am still safe. Either way the items are relatively cheap and am not too keen to deal with the public sector. I rather loose my money. Since, if i want to get it myself I will be putting money on fuel + anti-anger pills. So i rather sit and relax. Thanks tho for the advise and heads-up.

@Mars000 you shouldn't expect any tax and it should delivered to your door steps. Ofcourse, you have to write a decent address.
@rtp did you pay anything more than what you initially sent via visa/mastercard/whatever? if so how much? (interested in shipping a 12$ pocket watch (I am a sir, an 18 year old sir.)
WTH ? Am i the only one around here who pays VAT & Customs ?

I'm with Aramex and i always pay VAT, Customs, some رسوم "stamps & ovt", and Aramex customs clearance fee of course.

How come Lebanpost is getting everything for free ?

Should be:

Computer Hardware: 10% vat + 0% customs + رسوم + clearance

Cell phones & accessories: 10% vat + 5% customs + رسوم + clearance

Toys: 10% vat + 5% customs + رسوم + clearance

Apparel: 10% vat + 5% customs + 5050L.L per MIN + رسوم + clearance *i don't know wth is MIN

I am not sure about this but it could because with aramex it is treated as a parcel while with libanpost it is treated as mail which doesn't have VAT unles it is over 200,00 ll or whatever the new rule is.

Personally I have order A LOT of items from aliexpress and haven't paid a single dollar more than the price of the item. I've also ordered an item from the US and shipped it using international mail and also didn't pay any customs fees when it arrived.
i second port80, I always ship via LibanPost and never pay any additional cost. Only once I payed Tax, thats because the item i bought was a motorcycle vest and it was big and heavy!
I received my item today,it took 28 days via china post air mail, liban post delivered it to my doorstep without any extra fees...satisfied i guess
