I am planning to apply for lottery immigrant visa to USA. Should I do it through someone or do it on my own?
I know someone who applied for one of my relatives couple of years ago and he got accepted.

It's free to apply, but all papers have to be sent via mail. No emails. You have to pay for those. And you have the stamps and handling fees. You know, minor stuff. But yes, the application itself is free. Costs nothing more.

You don't need to pay those websites, I think you can register directly to the lottery and it might very well be free.
If you have relative there they can help you. If they are close relatives they/you can apply for family immigration, but it takes time.

nop, how hard can it be to complete a form online?

Give me two days and i will have experience in this.

Maybe I should do this as my new business, interesting!

Immigration files cannot be filed online. It's not permitted, period. Online sites have teams that do it for you and charge you for it.

31. How much does it cost to enter the E DV program?

There is currently no fee charged for submitting an electronic entry. However, if you are selected and
apply for a Diversity Visa, you must pay all required visa fees at the time of visa application and interview
directly to the consular cashier at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. If you are a selectee already in the United
States and you apply to USCIS to adjust status, you will pay all required fees directly to USCIS. If you are
selected, you will receive details of required DV and immigrant visa application fees with the instructions

Yeah i just remembered, i have experience now, i will charge you $130 for filling a free online registration.
