I am having a hard time downloading any torrent, the best speed is 50kb/s instead of the usual 440kb/s, and yes I am paying the extra fees for night downloads.

Internet ADSL is having lot of dead periods today, from 5 to 60 seconds

@vegetaleb, check Ogero's sticky thread. That's what I and many others have been complaining about for the past few days.
As explained there, I even tried my brother's "Connect" connection yesterday night while monitoring my Ogero DSL connection on another laptop and they both timed out for about 20 secs (at the exact same time and for the exact same duration) at around 9:30 pm. Go figure !

Torrents are limited to half speed so if you should have 440kb/s it's max 220kb/s now.

Download speed tonight is limited to 100kb/s whatever the download is, I think the least they can do if they respect us is to offer us one month free, it's a shame to see such horrible internet for days

New service from Cyberia, interesting though it doesn't include ADSL + it has the same BS channels as cablevision meaning 75%of them are OSN, arabic and sports which means it's useless, where is W9 HD and Fox News which are far better than Dubai TV or Quatar football news?? epic fail!

Download is at max 160kb/s tonight instead of 460kb/s, it looks like they are splitting the connection into several users.
Add to that random dead periods of couple of seconds here and there and you get crazy slow downloads, a download that would finish in 30mins will finish in 4 hours

After a short period of stability today, now 3/4 of website are very slow to load and other are normal
