  • Some questions about Xbox 360

Hi guys, I'm new to the gaming console, so my cousin would send me a used xbox 360 from germany, here a few questions to the picture be more clear in my head :

- what are the benefits of modding.
- can i run pirated games after the console being modded
- what are the side effects of modding
- what is the fee of modding in lebanon
- can i mod it by myself (I'm a CS graduated, and i have some experience if it is a software thing)

any important info related to xbox 360 is really appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.
Modification is for piracy, I don't think there are many noticeable side effects, most stores charge $30 for the modification. You might be able to mod it yourself,

Note that when you modify the console, you will be vulnerable to get banned, sometimes games include update packages that brick your console if you don't have the latest modification.

Thank you very much, but that's lead me to another questions, there is a chance to get banned if i didn't connect it to the internet ?
and regarding mod, i searched the net and there is a lot of guides and words (GRH, Jtag, Flash, Mod) so it is very confusing, all what i need is to play burned games on it, so any guide for mod is appreciated.
Your console can be ''flagged'' because of a badly copied DVD game, even if your xbox is offline once you get online micro$oft will see the flag and ban you,the only solution then is to (re)flash LT 3.0

Isn't there something else that bans the console forever? Like blacklisting thr motherboard or something like that, I didn't own my 360 much to know :p
thank you guys, so in short, it is is feasible to get an xbox to lebanon if i want to play burnt games? in other words, it has a solution?
