other than pcandparts i think you can get Tripplite from logicom 01/501301 and APC from APC's Reseller at Tabaris, Charles Malek Avenue, Achrafieh, Ashadia Building, 10th Floor. PCE, Pcstar and intex are found everywhere.

Hey guys, I know I am reviving an old topic here, but I would like to know the best UPS brands currently in the market. The UPS's you guys stated seemed to have gone out of stock at pcandparts and I need to get one soon. I'm looking at the MGE Eaton 5E Essential Plus 5E1500iUSB 1500VA Line Interactive PM w/ AVR u-s1. I currently own an i5 3570 and a sapphire 7850 2gb OCed version, and my power supply is a Cooler Master Extreme 2 725 725W PSU. Any suggestions?

This a decent ups..it can easily give you 15mi ..and the usb and software will help you turn off your machine and control power options

Thanks @Stygmata, I thought so as well, just needed reassurance.

I have a UPS called "best one" .. yes XD .. i had it for 5 years now it is 1200VA ups .. i changed the batteries once 2 years ago for 20,000 and it returned new (i changed them myself and it was easy).
I can not find the brand online XD but this cheap ups gives me 10- 15 mins"depending if i turn my screen and sound off" to my 850W, 4790k, gtx970, storm trooper PC.

I think you exchange the regular 12v x 7 amps with12v x 9 amps

I forgot to put my point in the post :) .. buy cheap UPS unless you have bad current at your house, it will stay going until the next battery change.

Any ideas on how much it costs and where I can find it? I live in baabda, can go anywhere in beirut and up to jounieh or keserwan.

Best ups brand with 1000va? I had one called Ex-turbo u.p.s with the following written on it's front:
-rated current 1000 va
-DC input 12v
-output 220v
-floating charger
-overload and low batterie
-cut off
-charger a.v.r
-full microprocessor control
coupled with a 200ah battery, I used to turn my desktop for 12 hours on it, I think it just died, what would be a better brand and where to get it? I'd want to turn on my latest PC rig build for say, 8 hours. I guess the rig will use more power with latest hardware upgrades.

Hey LebGeeks, how you doin ?
I'm new to this forum (and relatively new to the tech/hardware enthusiast world, but i love it! & am asking myself why
i haven't chosen a job in this domain, but meh too late) so i'm not sure this the right way or place to post this,
but here it goes:
i recently bought a new pc and got a new UPS (for around 90$! dont know its specs but it seems like a generic/cheap
type) but it lasts around 2-3min when the pc isnt on heavy load and shuts down IMMEDIATELY when gaming (so much for online
gaming !!) or 3D modeling
so my question is what kind of UPS should i get??
my pc specs: i7-4790, msi board, gtx 760,1 HDD, +3 case fans
PSU:Antec HCG-620 620W 80 Plus BRONZE
(i'm probably gonna buy one from pcandparts, they have quite a lot of options, yeeesh really confusing!! so if point me to the exact product it wld be nice )
budget:100-200 max
any help wld be appreciated, thank you
