I'm going to order some stuff next month or so, but before i do so, i have to see if they are available here
1-
ESC
2-
LIPO batteries
DNA
the first one "ESC" it seems a PWM motor controller it can be found at katranji, the second Li-Poly batteries can also be found at katranji but if not and you need a fairly low current you can buy cheap phone batteries and wire them in series or parallel (beware that newer batteries may have protection circuitry)
solo220
The ESC that your asking for in the link is too hard to find in Lebanon what's available is the 40 and 60 amperes version of other brands, for the lipo 2 and 3 cells are common max to 2300mA @katarangi and other RC hobby shops .
just beware that the ESC in the link is for a brushless DC motor not just a normal PWM controller.

thx guys i'll call katranji and see what i can find.
@DNA I think LIPO is my only option, i have an arduino project, i need 12 volts batteries which can last for 8h, they need to be slim and small, the size of a sumsung s3 or ipad, and after an extensive research i guess LIPO is my only option.
@solo220 yes i've done my homework on it, i'm not sure if i need ESC just yet, i asked about it just to make sure i'll be able to find it if i have to get it, i'll update this thread if i need other stuff.
DNA
phone batteries are Li-poly or in other words lipo and 3 batteries in series would give you 12 volts at 1.8ah(if you find the right ones)
which would hold 8 hours if you draw 225mA.
but if you have a motor running or other loads Li-poly is not a good choice since it becomes very expensive when it gets bigger so inorder to help you better please state what is your needed current draw for the project and i'll tell you the best battery to use.

sorry for the late reply
.
I've been told to use Vmax tank and agm batteries and many other batteries, I'm creating something like a scooter (not a scooter though) and I'm using arduino.
I need to find a battery that is so slim and light, like a sumsung s3 or ipad. Vmax tank and agm batteries are so heavy. I need to find batteries as powerful as the ones used for electrical wheelchair or scooters, but those batteries are so heavy, i've seen them.
maximum potential speed is like 20 km/h maybe less, but the normal speed will be around 5 to 10 km/h, distance around 80 km, i have no problem using some sort of a regenerative brake system or solar power system.
LIPO is the only realistic option i found, i've asked many people, 99.9% made fun of me, the rest recommended LIPO, i know that lipo are dangerous, they could explode, but i'm willing to take the risk.
LIPO costs around 70$ on ebay, lets say 100$ + shipping and everything, a price I'm willing to pay for the project i'm doing, coz if it worked i could sell each item for 7k or more, if it doesn't work, i'll be happy knowing that i at least tried to do what i love to do :)
I'll talk more about the project when it's done, i don't really like to talk about dreams or theories so i won't go into details :) at least not publicly on a forum.
