Fischer A friend who was living in usa, just came to lebanon and is planning to settle here. He needs to learn Arabic, the Lebanese dialect, he just want to be able to communicate. He's an adult, like 40 years old. He doesn't want to learn how to write arabic or anything, He wants to learn how to speak the Lebanese dialect using the english words, like the chatting language. I recommended livemocha.com, i learn italian and spanish there, but it seems too complicated for him. Any recommendations?
samer Keefak is available for both iOS and Android. I have never tried it, but it seems to be getting good reviews.
cullinan86 If your friend is planning to settle in Lebanon, I recommend that he takes private "Lebanese dialect" lessons. I know a few tutors that teach dozens of foreign residents how to speak Lebanese (Most of those foreigners work with the UN). Ask your friend if he is ready to commit to a serious course.
